THOSE MOMENTS

I miss those moments
when I walked to school all alone
Yet happy in my mind's eye
I miss those moments
when no one would sit by me
And I enjoyed the air around

I miss those moments
When no one smiled at me
Yet had the biggest grin on my face
I miss those moments
When I was a 'tomboy'
Yet admired the most

I miss those moments
When I had no friend
Yet everyone loved me
I miss those moments
When I would never speak
Yet my voice echoed

I miss those moments
That made me look weird
Yet the best of times
I miss those moments
When I was alone
Yet with joy and peace

I miss those moments
That I miss made me
Me known by me alone

NAADENSUA

New as a friend you are to me
Asks my mind who you will be
And when you put up that smile
Dreams of hope I see in a mile
Every chat is a discovery
Never ending friendships mystery
Searching to find that which you will be
Unveils who you are to me
As the best friend you ought to be

I'M FREE

Don't grieve for me for now I'm free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Task left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembering joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

But be not burdened with times of sorrow,
For I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full. I've savoured much,
Good friends, good times and loved ones' touch.

Perhaps my times seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now undue grief.
Lift up your eyes and share with me.
God wanted me now. He set me free.

NATURE

Look up at nature
As looking at a picture
Birds in the sky flying
Joining their voices singing

Children on the playground
Playing here and all around
The sight of nature
Draws a beautiful picture

THE PROWLER

Devoted before the pulpit a priest
But strange and haunted a beast
Sneaker in the middle of the night
But never seen as the sun so bright
Strange minded so secretive

But a pretender so protective
Intruding to kill the innocent
The loving or benevolent
The world to it a shoulder
But strange an evil prowler
